About the Role

Traveler's Tea Company, located inside Picklehall's food hall, is looking for Baristas to craft coffee, espresso, loose leaf tea, juice drinks, shakes, desserts, pastries, ice cream, and other menu items. This role is ideal for someone friendly, fast-moving, and passionate about hospitality and great guest experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Craft coffee, espresso drinks, teas, juices, shakes, desserts, pastries, ice cream, and other menu items.
  • Provide a friendly, welcoming, and helpful guest experience.
  • Take orders directly from guests and prepare orders from app-based systems.
  • Help guests understand the menu, ordering process, and available options.
  • Keep the workstation, equipment, food stall, and service area clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Track inventory needs and communicate supply needs.
  • Support food hall safety, cleanliness, and service standards.
  • Document and report incidents, accidents, injuries, or safety concerns.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 16 years of age.
  • Prior coffee shop, barista, food service, or related experience.
  • Experience using point-of-sale or app-based ordering systems.
  • Friendly, welcoming, and positive approach to guest service.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successful completion of a background check, as permitted by law.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience preparing espresso drinks, loose leaf tea, juices, shakes, desserts, pastries, or ice cream.
  • Experience supporting social media or online content

Schedule

This position may include morning, afternoon, evening, weekday, weekend, and every-other-Sunday shifts based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

This role takes place in an active food hall, recreation, hospitality, and entertainment environment. With or without reasonable accommodation, employees may be required to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, move throughout the food hall, work around food and beverage equipment, work for extended periods in a noisy environment, and occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds.
